Splendid Thanksgiving Weekend

Kyle and I were lucky to enjoy a wide variety of activities this weekend,

We first started our playing around out side in the wonderful weather...
We got superb massages by Collin....

Us leaving with our magnificent gingerbread house and Kyle with the delicious leftovers...
And to wrap up our wonderful weekend this is Kyle and I gazing into each other's eyes while we cleaned the wax out of our ears. It was great because finally I can hear!

My Very First Boot!

It was a really sad day yesterday when I returned to my car after school. I drive up to 4th South and 9th East and park in an Office Max parking lot and ride trax up to the U.
I do this because....
1) I don't want to pay $132.00 for a parking pass and I usually take trax unless I'm running late. 2) I thought it was a great idea and I have done this about four times with it not being a problem.
3) The lot is not even close to being full so I thought is was ok to park there.
I come up to my car and see this nice note explaining that my car has been immobilized with a BOOT and to take the boot off I just have to pay $80.00. Awesome! I would have much rather received a $20.00 parking ticket up at the U. Not only is it bad that I have to pay $80 but my WONDERFUL idea is ruined. I learned my lesson to read every sign near by any area that I park and to never park in Office Max's parking lot again!

Graduation!!

Kyle graduated from training and he looks real hot in his uniform! I'm so proud of him and he did such a great job. I'm really scared now because he'll be working with at the actual prison with a bunch of criminals!!! Oh Dear!

Kyle and I just celebrated our 1 YEAR anniversary!! It has gone by so fast and I'm glad we made it through the toughest year of marriage. I love Kyle so much and I'm lucky to be with such a great guy.

Here is a little poem about Kyle that I came up with and shared with him at our wedding dinner:

Kyle in every way possible I was your fate
I can't believe it took you so long to ask me on a date
I understand why a text was the easiest way
I am extremely intimidating I must say

Kyle in every way possible you are the best
You have done very well and passed every test
I want to thank you for being so great
Even though its made it harder to wait

Kyle in every way possible you are my luck
I hope your not scared cause your kind of stuck
I love all your talents your singing is swell
I’m glad your best one is playing Guitar Hero so well

Kyle in every way possible we make a great pair
Although, your love for the Jazz is quite rare
I love watching you hit all your home runs
But in the end I think I’ve really won!

Lehi Roundup

I had no idea how big the Lehi Roundup Rodeo was until Saturday when I attended the event. The whole arena was packed and there was hardly any moving room but it was still really fun! This was my first rodeo of the year and I was really surprised by how entertaining it was. I was really happy to do something other that watch a movie. I felt like I was totally out of place with out my cowboy boots, cowboy hat and belt buckle. Well now I'll know better for next year.

Novice Blogger Here

Everyone is doing it so I thought I would jump right up on the bandwagon and start a blog. There really isn't anything new or exciting that happens in our lives but maybe, just maybe, this will motivate me to stir things up a bit. We also haven't taken a single picture since our honeymoon. I'm hoping all of this fun stuff we will be doing will give us a reason to snap some photos. I need some way to remember the first year of our marriage and pictures are the best way. I only have a couple months left until it is over so I need to get started. If anyone has any fun activies ideas pass them this way.
